The Warrior Alliance Welcomes Joey Tripp, Director of Development

November 21, 2019 – Joey Tripp joins The Warrior Alliance as the Director of Development. Joey has served over 15 years in the nonprofit sector, starting as an award-winning national volunteer and working in several areas of nonprofit management to include public relations, partner management, and business development.

As a Donor Relations Officer for American Red Cross, Joey let the Georgia and North Florida region’s core donor fundraising strategy, execution of diverse donor campaigns, and achievement of annual revenue goals. He also established best practices for managing large donor portfolios that ensured funder retention and growth of annual contributions. His innovative programs were integrated into the channel design training for new staff across the organization.

Joey has worked for several organizations, such as Jackson County Habitat for Humanity, Sisu Integrated Early Learning, Tripp Family Christmas Lights, Piedmont Rape Crisis Center, Camp Twin Lakes, American Red Cross, Furkids, and Vox Artium Foundation, in various capacities. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors’ in Biology. Joey serves on the board of directors for the Rotary Club of Gainesville.
